This is the whole uncut herbs on the stringy twigs/stems.
Suitable for herbal ‘Tea’ infusions etc.
Scientific names: Verbena officinalis (L.) Wettst. Family: Verbenaceae
Also known by such names as common verbena, wild verbena, simpler’s joy, holy herb, enchanter’s plant, mosquito plant, wild hyssop, Indian hyssop, blue vervain, juno’s tears, pigeon’s grass, pigeonweed, and herb of the cross, vervain answers to many names.
Makes a relaxing herbal ‘tea’ infusion.
To make a herbal ‘tea’ infusion:
Use 1 heaped TEAspoon per cup required.
Place in pot
add boiling water
allow to infuse for 5-7 minutes
strain into a cup and enjoy.
Take up to 3 cups per 24 hours.
Best taken without milk.
