Barley flakes can be used to make a hearty muesli base or thick porridge. It is a great alternative to oats or spelt and can be used in the same way. Barley flakes can also be used to make rustic breads.
Directions
Barley Flakes can be used in the same way that Oat Flakes are used:
• As a muesli base or breakfast cereal. Add fruit and nuts if you like, or serve simply with milk.
• To make a thick porridge. Simply boil in water for 5 minutes, add milk and serve with fruit or honey.
